The Global Health Workforce Alliance (and that means you!) has been asked to participate in a time-bound

Advisory Working Group on

Human Resources for Health in Maternal, Newborn and Child Health

from 24th November to the end of January 2010.

The purpose of setting up this time-limited Group is to gather information on assessments, tools and case studies that are, or have been used at the country level aimed at improving maternal, newborn and child health.

We are sending out a call for your help in gathering this important information and hope that you can contribute. At the end of this call for information, a paper will be developed and made available on the gaps identified and therefore the areas to be covered in the future.Let us work together in order to contribute to scaling up human resources for health towards the achievement of MDGs 4 
and 5.
